About Ronald
Ronald Scheer is an AI expert and university lecturer, where he served as a teacher at Fontys Engineering (Mechatronics research group) and Fontys Economics Tilburg (Media Innovation).
With an MSc in 'Educational Science & Technology' from the University of Twente, he combines a strong academic foundation with daily hands-on classroom experience.
As a researcher at the Open Learning and Innovation Lab, he developed innovative teaching methods at the intersection of AI and 3D printing.
He guides teachers and educational institutions across secondary, vocational, and higher education in using generative AI responsibly — from lesson preparation to curriculum analysis and policy development.
His approach is practical and teacher-centred: AI empowers the educator, it doesn't replace them.
